It looks like it was never worn but the fibers on the silk are very old and it does have some tiny tears and shattered areas on the silk but it is not very noticeable in my opinion.  The silk on this dress is not repairable and is very hard to sew through and shatters when a needle is in the fabric. Please keep in mind this piece is very old and must be worn gently or around the house!
